Rachel McAdams Joins the Marvel Family

Rachel McAdams joins the Marvel family in the in-development film Doctor Strange, but her role is still kept secret under the most safe locks. We only know that will star alongside Mads Mikkelsen whose role is also unknown yet, Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange, Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West, Neve Gachev as Doctor and Elizabeth Healey as Dr. Marcuzzi. You are probably wondering who is left there to be played by the beautiful Rachel McAdams.

Well, you don’t need to be good math to make an assumption, right? So I’d say that McAdams will be Clea, the lover and disciple of Doctor Strange. Clea’s first appearance in the Doctor Strange Comic Book was in November 1964. Although Rachel doesn’t give us any clue that would possibly strengthen or weaken our premature deductions, she finally talks about her decision of joining the Marvel family: “I met with Scott [Derrickson] and loved his vision, he was so passionate. And the opportunity to work with Benedict was kind of a no-brainer. And Marvel makes amazing films, so it was a complete package.”

Later she added “It’s definitely not going to be like any of the other films.” Ok, now I am intrigued and I can’t wait until the fourth of November, 2016 arrives, when “Doctor Strange” will hit the theaters.
